You will require completion of a National 4 Mathematics course, relevant component units or an equivalent course.
This unit forms part of the National 5 Mathematics course but can also be studied as a stand alone unit. The National 5 qualification enables learners to acquire and apply operational skills necessary for developing mathematical ideas through symbolic representation and diagrams. They will select and apply mathematical techniques and will develop their understanding of the interdependencies within mathematics.
You will cover the use of mathematical operational skills linked to relationships & use mathematical reasoning skills linked to relationships. The main Outcomes in the course cover aspects of algebra, geometry, trigonometry and reasoning.
